A widow contacted us for help retrieving her husband’s belongings from the Department of Corrections. We referred her to the DOC Chaplain to request the property. Family members have a limited time to make these kinds of requests, so we helped make sure that the necessary paperwork was received by DOC so that they could release the property to her. Soon after, she received her husband’s belongings from DOC.
